On Monday, the day after I started thinking about this, Maryland (USA) went under a "stay at home" order during the COVID19 pandemic. For a person, like me, who has worked hard to articulate a need for touch, this is challenging. I live alone and I am working to manage the stress and anxiety of this new forced isolation. I'm working through some ideas about what kinds of touch I miss and how to think about them (and pass the time) through music.
